Clayco, Lamar Johnson Collaborative, and Concrete Strategies are happy to announce that our project, Mark Anthony Brewing in Columbia, South Carolina, won the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) Industrial Process Merit Award! DBIA's Merit Award winners will compete for a National Award of Excellence, “Best of” category, and Project of the Year.
62 projects from across the nation were submitted for consideration and evaluated by a panel of industry experts. I am proud that the creativity and effective collaboration of our Clayco team and partners continue to positively impact communities and contribute to the growth of the design-build industry.
This same transformational facility was also named the Best Project in Manufacturing for ENR Southeast's 2023 Best Projects! From a selection of 80+ projects, expert judges selected only 16 for Best Project honors. It is clear that through exceptional teamwork and innovative visions, our work can effectively benefit the communities beyond our walls.
Mark Anthony Brewing’s (MAB) 1.2-million-square-foot brewing, packaging, and logistics facility is the largest brewery built in the U.S. in over 25 years. It produces approximately 80 million cases per year of White Claw Hard Seltzer, Mike’s Hard Lemonade, Mike’s Harder Lemonade, and Cayman Jack Cocktails to help meet the overwhelming demand of thirsty citizens.
MAB also represents a $400 million investment in Richland County and will create 300 new jobs, stimulating the economy and bringing positive growth to the community.
