Idaho Falls Airport is getting an upgrade!
Our Clayco team prides itself on shaping spaces that enhance communities and connect people – which is why we’re excited to be part of the Idaho Falls Regional Airport Terminal Expansion. This ambitious initiative was made possible by $2.5 million in funding under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law Airport Terminal Program and represents a significant step forward for Idaho Falls and meeting aviation demand over the next 30 years.
Partnering with the Ardurra Group and Alliiance Architects, we are bringing our expertise to this multi-phase project and the community. Airports are gateways to opportunity, and this project will reshape the airport into a modern hub that reflects the beauty of Idaho and supports the region’s growth. This 18,000-square-foot expansion will enhance passenger experiences with renovated spaces for baggage, ticketing, and essential airport functions while critical mechanical and operational improvements boost efficiency.
Idaho Falls is a thriving, dynamic city, and the completion of this project in 2026 will elevate the airport’s functionality and operations to the next level with critical upgrades to the terminal’s mechanical, electrical, communication, and plumbing systems. However, we’re not just building a terminal – we’re building a better tomorrow for Idaho Falls and beyond.
I look forward to witnessing how the airport will enhance the city’s ability to attract new businesses, boost tourism, and strengthen connections for residents and visitors alike. This project will build a more robust, vibrant Idaho Falls far into the future.
More to come!
