The drive toward the global electric vehicle revolution is moving (Vin)Fast!
VinFast is a member of Vingroup – a well-recognized Vietnamese brand and one of Vietnam’s leading enterprises. VinFast owns a state-of-the-art automotive manufacturing complex with globally leading scalability, delivering up to 90% automation in Hai Phong.
Vinfast held the groundbreaking ceremony for their first electric vehicle manufacturing facility in North Carolina – that our Clayco team is building. VinFast’s factory covers an area of approximately 1,800 acres and is designed to reach a capacity of 150,000 vehicles per year in Phase 1, providing both electric vehicle production and assembly. This will create a hub for stable, permanent skilled jobs in Chatham County, boosting the economy.

Projected to open in 2025, the factory will be VinFast’s primary supplier of electric vehicles to the North American market, enabling optimized production and business activities.
