Rivian is making the “impossible” an everyday achievement!
The company stands at the forefront of the EV industry and is working to implement sustainable manufacturing methods to promote a healthier planet. I had the opportunity to visit Rivian in Palo Alto, California, and it was inspiring and educational.
Hearing the vision firsthand from CEO and founder RJ Scaringe brought back memories of my founding days and all the incredible focus it has taken to become a builder for Rivian. My time with the head of software, Wassym Bensaid, also really brought home the amazing creation of the technology that will win the future.
Much like Clayco, Rivian focuses on building a team of adventurous individuals who are dedicated to making a positive impact. We are proud to collaborate and help cultivate a greener society as Rivian’s building partner for their 1,800-acre plant in Stanton Springs, Georgia. Our partnership plays a pivotal role in transitioning society from harmful fossil fuels to cleaner, greener energy solutions that benefit global communities.
The new Rivian R1 is a game-changer in the world of electric adventure vehicles. It has an impressive range of up to 400 miles, off-road capability, and is built for those (like me) who crave exploration. My favorite thing about the R1 is cattle herding! It is one of the best – and most fun – tools to quite literally guide the cows home. With innovative hardware, software, and a superspeed “launch mode,” you will feel like you are in a futuristic Fast & Furious movie!
