Clayco supported finding a cure for cancer as we committed to our 13th year with Pedal the Cause!
Almost every member of our Clayco family has been impacted by cancer, whether it is that of a family member, friend, or colleague. Our goal as an organization is to innovate communities and industries to build a better, healthier future beyond our walls. Pedal the Cause is an important initiative that aligns with our core values and supports lifesaving research with its efforts.
Through an annual cycling challenge, Pedal the Cause provides critical funding for cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. To further these efforts, members of our Clayco, CRG, Lamar Johnson Collaborative, Concrete Strategies, and Ventana teams pedaled and participated in creating a transformative impact on cancer research.
This year, Pedal the Cause raised almost $4 million, and 100% of that money goes to support cancer research to find a cure. According to the World Cancer Research Fund, there were an estimated 18.1 million cancer cases worldwide in 2020. With our help, these vulnerable groups can find and receive the treatment they need.
Our collaborative team is focused on innovation and demolishing obstacles and outdated mindsets that stand in the way of unique and impactful solutions. We ride for everyone affected by this terrible disease.
