Fort Wayne International Airport's (FWA) Terminal Expansion

Our Clayco team was awarded the Fort Wayne International Airport's (FWA) East Terminal Expansion project in Indiana!

Construction on the 35,500-square-foot renovation and expansion will begin in May 2023 as part of the airport's Project Gateway. It will ultimately enhance the terminal building to support continued growth and create an appealing and efficient passage to the local community.

The project was designed by Mead & Hunt and will renovate the 10,500-square-foot concourse area and 5,000-square-foot first-level operational space. It will also relocate all airline gates and passenger boarding bridges, expand the TSA security checkpoint area, create a new frequent flyer lounge, and more.

This development is a continuation of FWA’s commitment to improved accessibility. It’s a great collaborative effort to modernize the airport and make it more convenient and inviting for visitors and the community.

Our team looks forward to working with the builders and designers as well as the Fort Wayne Airport Authority to minimize impact during the expansion and stay on schedule for its completion in June 2025.
