After serving as the United States Commissioner General for the USA Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, my focus and dedication to the Chicago community are stronger than ever!

I was honored to introduce Mayor Lori Lightfoot at the City Club of Chicago on April 19th as she discussed her outlook for a strong economic recovery.

Mayor Lightfoot touched on Chicago having the most diverse economy in the nation and the need to lean into its core strengths, including –– manufacturing, transportation, distribution and logistics, life sciences, food and agriculture, and technology.

The city’s current comprehensive economic plans have collaborated with business, labor, and civic leaders alike to formulate the best course of action to reach Chicago’s goals. Chicago will emerge stronger post-Covid than almost any other city in the world. The mayor highlighted 2021’s impressive numbers and optimism about 2022 and beyond.
