We are approaching the finish line at Washington University’s School of Medicine/Barnes-Jewish Hospital Siteman Cancer Center!
Concrete Strategies recently held the project’s precast erection topping-out ceremony & dinner to honor the hard work and dedication of our on-site crews.
Congratulations to Jenny Koerber, Concrete Strategies Project Manager/CFA, who was named precast “MVP” and loved Clayco’s newly designed signed hard hat gift! It was signed by all of Clayco's shareholders, Concrete Strategies' executive management team, MPC Precast, and the erection crew led by Gerald Sparkman.
If you have not yet seen the precast panels on the project, it’s worth making a site visit just to witness some of the most high-end quality precast panels in the marketplace, provided by MPC Precast.
$7.3 million worth of precast was used on this project, and the 863-piece precast erection was $2.4 million and was erected by the night shift team using tower cranes. While we have made incredible progress, there is still more work to be done. Our teams have 36 more panels to erect after the first of the year, when the buck hoist is taken down.
I would like to extend another big thank you to the Clayco and Concrete Strategies teams, our partners at MPC Precast, and everyone who has helped us advance this project ahead of schedule and under budget!
