What an honor to introduce my friend, President Biden, for his economic policy speech in Chicago!
So many of the Midwest’s esteemed leaders, including Governor JB Pritzker, Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson, and other representatives joined to hear the president’s plan to boost the national economy. His strategy, referred to as “Bidenomics,” aims to avoid failed trickle-down economics and help markets flourish through middle-class-driven growth.
Our Clayco team has numerous national projects due to these bipartisan legislative accomplishments and the drive to invest in our workers, communities, and country. The plan for the economy is working, with advanced manufacturing, chip plants, car plants, battery plants, chemical plants, and highway and airport construction underway. All of the nation’s top builders are gearing up for an American building boom not seen since World War II. We believe the Biden economy will last for decades and change the very fabric of jobs in America.
President Biden recognizes that the best way to grow the economy is from the middle out and the bottom up. His vision includes making smart public U.S. investments, empowering and educating workers to expand the middle class, and promoting competition to lower costs and help entrepreneurs and small businesses thrive.
It has been incredible to witness the president’s positive impact on the American economy, security, and the world.
Moving Clayco to Chicago ten years ago was game-changing. We love working in one of the country's most resilient, dynamic, and cost-effective big cities. I am glad that President Biden sees the same potential in Chicago that we always have, and I look forward to seeing how Bidenomics will build a nation of increased opportunity and prosperity for future generations.
