Skye on 6th is officially complete!
Clayco has been busy transforming skylines in the “New West Coast '' across Arizona and beyond – and this 26-story project in the Roosevelt Row Arts District in Phoenix is one of the latest additions. Skye on 6th features 6,400 square feet of ground-level retail space and an 88,000-square-foot parking garage. The structure’s design, done by Shepley Bulfinch and interiors by Harken Interiors, is centered around resident wellness and includes a fitness center with a sauna, steam room, outdoor pool and spa, and a dedicated co-working floor.
Developed by Hubbard Street Group, this building is destined to become an important staple in the neighborhood. As we at Clayco always aim to build Beyond These Walls, I’m humbled to say that, as part of the Construction Career Development Initiative’s introduction into the market, Clayco and Hubbard Street Group donated $10,000 each at the project’s groundbreaking in September 2021 to a construction career exposure educational program with Phoenix Union Bioscience High School. The “Build our Future” program awarded two $2,500 scholarships and summer internships to senior students interested in pursuing a construction-related college degree. There is no better way to inspire and support the next wave of trade workers!
Safety is ALWAYS Clayco's top priority at every job site and for every project. Our team achieved “star” status through the Arizona Division of Occupational Safety and Health (ADOSH)’s Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) for this project by logging over 640,000 work hours without a recordable injury (904 days). Great work to every individual who helped us showcase our unwavering commitment to safety and excellence!
This innovative development is a testament to the power of team collaboration and quality values in organizations that pour resources into the communities where they work. Residents of Skye on 6th will be able to enjoy the space safely and comfortably, bringing a new era of positive change to urban living in the neighborhood.
