The most impactful projects come together when we strategically collaborate with the best in the building business to develop outstanding results. Weaver Steel in Saint Peters, Missouri, is one of Clayco’s subcontractors and embodies the dedication it takes to transform public spaces into hubs for human connection.
Working with teams that share your values builds trust and enduring partnerships. Our Clayco and Weaver Steel teams worked on Centene Clayton Tower 2 for Centene Corporation, another organization that mirrors our priorities. Similar to how we at Clayco strive to make a positive impact on communities, Centene is committed to helping people live healthier lives by providing access to high-quality healthcare, innovative programs, and health solutions.
Weaver Steel has served as a subcontractor on some of Clayco’s most pivotal projects, such as renovating the Pfizer Boulder Campus facility. This project combined science and renovation by upgrading two buildings on Pfizer's 4.5-acre site with cutting-edge facilities, like specialized labs and equipment. The site is devoted to finding, developing, and selling small-molecule cancer treatments. This renovation, done in multiple stages, boosts both scientific capabilities and the overall work environment, making it safer, more efficient, and functional.
Our project with SK Innovation not only represented one of the most significant single investments in job creation in Georgia’s history but also a critical step toward a greener future. The 2.4 million-square-foot SK Innovation battery manufacturing plant is the first electric vehicle battery factory in America and a great step toward a more eco-friendly society.
In our home state of Missouri, Clayco and Weaver Steel helped bring Reinsurance Group of America’s HQ to life. The development enabled RGA to reflect its global brand and local roots with two high-tech, five-story glass office towers connected through a two-story stone-clad amenity base.
Washington University School of Medicine’s 12-story office building was another successful project. At the heart of the growing medical campus, the Mid-Campus Center (MCC) consolidated medical offices will offer more space for connection and healthcare discoveries. Paving the way to healthcare progress!
No matter the task or location, Clayco remains true to our commitment to partner with companies that improve our world through sustainable operations and services. As builders and modelers of constructed environments, we must protect and preserve the resources of the communities we serve. I look forward to our continued collaborative efforts with Weaver Steel.
Let’s keep building a healthy future for our planet and people!
