Two years ago today, the Russian terrorist attack on Ukraine began.

As the United States Commissioner General at Expo 2020 Dubai, I stood alongside leaders and diplomats from other nations that day. We spontaneously gathered at the Ukrainian pavilion to show our unified support.

On this two-year anniversary of the Russian invasion, every American should know how critical it is to defeat Russia and its aggression against Ukraine. As President Biden stated as he welcomed Governors to the White House yesterday, it is vital for Congress to pass more aid for Ukraine. He also announced that 500 new sanctions would be levied amid Alexei Navalny’s death. “We never bow to anyone--particularly Putin,” President Biden said. And I couldn’t agree more.

We must continue to stand with Ukraine.
