Building the Future of Mobility with Hankook Tire

Hankook Tire is pioneering a path into the fast lane of tomorrow!

Clayco is working on Hankook Tire’s 2.2-million-square-foot expansion project in Clarksville, Tennessee, and the latest construction photos show that it is coming along amazingly. We have assembled an excellent team for this development, including Lamar Johnson Collaborative, ICT Thomasson, Tucker Jones, and TTL. The state-of-the-art tire manufacturing facility will enhance the company’s production capabilities, create jobs, and ultimately contribute to the area's economic growth.

The building will house the production of Hankook Tire’s passenger car and truck/bus tire production lines, helping it go BEYOND tires and usher in a new era of mobility. Just like Clayco, Hankook Tire prioritizes performance, safety, and sustainability. This facility will support the company on its mission to spread these values while expanding business and reconnecting every moment on the road with wonder and discoveries.

This large-scale project includes site improvement, utility installation and relocations, paving, deep foundations, concrete foundations/slabs, deep equipment pits, a multistory structural steel Mixing Building, ASRS mat foundations, IMP exterior walls, CMU-IMP interior walls, TPO roofing, and supporting architectural features. I’m proud of our Clayco team for leveraging our integrated approach to support this fast-and-furious goal.

Let’s keep going!
