Construction has been in full swing since March on 220 North Ada!
The 29-story building will offer 308 rental apartments, and the three-story podium at the base of the tower is set to feature a lobby, over 12,300 square feet of ground-floor retail, parking, and amenity space for residents. This is a COMMUNITY project and is essential in more ways than one.
The development is a true collaboration, bringing together the expertise of our Clayco team along with Shapack, KMW COMMUNITIES, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM). 220 N. Ada plays a vital role in advancing investment and economic growth in the Fulton Market and the greater Chicagoland area. Not only will it create jobs, but it also represents CRG’s first announced project under its PILLAR program, which helps developers of color execute large-scale development opportunities.
With minority-owned firms making up less than 1% of developers, PILLAR plays a crucial role in fostering inclusivity in the CRE space and beyond. PILLAR is designed to offer support by broadening the scope and profitability of ventures and creating opportunities for collaboration. 220 N. Ada is being built with Mother Nature in mind. The development has a sustainable, energy-efficient design that benefits the environment. The building will exceed local energy codes, reduce water use, include EV charging stations, and reserve areas for green roofs and working landscapes. We also committed to 80% construction waste diversion.
