I had a great conversation spilling my “secret sauce” recipe for success on the podcast PNC C-Speak: The Language of Executives St. Louis, with KMOX’s Carol Daniel and the regional president of PNC Michael Scully. The platform aims to provide insight into transformative business approaches that encourage business leaders to think differently – which I was more than happy to be a part of.
We discussed my philosophies and tips learned from my 38-year (and counting) professional career. I talked about the importance of surrounding yourself with the best and brightest team, following the “golden rule” of how to treat others, and that being selective about where to apply your craft can make for genuine and lasting partnerships.
Clayco has become one of the largest design-builders in the United States and it was great to talk about all of the incredible work our team has completed on our job sites and in our neighborhoods. As we continue to expand and innovate, we hold our values of diversity, inclusion, and the pursuit of equity very close, which have opened so many doors for the company – and even earned awards!
Overall, staying committed to your mission and remaining focused on the communities and well-being of those around you is the recipe for accomplishing any goal worth pursuing.
