I’ve been very outspoken recently about my disagreement with OSHA’s Covid-19 vaccination guidance, and it’s something that I believe needs to be addressed as we start to bring people back to work in person.

As it stands now, OSHA’s guidelines are going to keep some companies from requiring their employees to get vaccinated, and we’ve even had to revise Clayco’s mandate to accommodate the change in policy.

I have stood by OSHA for years, and OSHA has been a great partner throughout the pandemic. But now, myself and others in the construction industry are calling on OSHA to change their guidance. We should be trying to get as many people vaccinated as possible, and we’re planning on lobbying OSHA to reconsider its ruling.
