I am incredibly proud that Clayco won the “Organizational Excellence” award at the 2022 St. Louis Council of Construction Consumers (SLC3) Best Practices and Inclusion gala. The recognition honors the ways Clayco promotes, supports, and tracks progress in diversity through participation metrics, workforce development, mentoring, and retention.
Clayco Rising, our all-encompassing DEI program, has helped fuel our journey toward inclusion and break down barriers that underrepresented groups face in both personal and professional spaces. It is designed to create meaningful opportunities for our employees, our minority and women-owned business partners, and people within the communities we serve. Clayco Rising drives structural and enduring change within the design and construction industries by creating pathways for everyone to have an opportunity to learn, grow and succeed.
Clayco along with Lamar Johnson Collaborative received an honorable mention for the CII Best Practice Finalist project [email protected], a 125,000-square-foot Class A office building in St. Louis. This class-A office project was recognized for efforts in the areas of change management and front-end planning. The facility was created for a post-pandemic world, featuring touchless and safely-distanced amenities but also shared workspaces and elements to encourage collaborative engagement and improve the quality of the work environment.
I am so proud of our innovative team that never stops proving its dedication to our communities and industry. I look forward to seeing how our commitment to making a difference “beyond these walls” continues to propel society into the future.
