I’m excited that Clayco was selected along with DLA+ Architecture & Interior Design and Mackey Mitchell Architects (MMA) as part of the design-build team to transform a residence hall campus at Penn State University.

East Halls is one of the largest residence hall construction projects undertaken by the university at a cost of $152 million – and I am proud that Clayco is a part of it! Our goal is to refresh the area and provide new state-of-the-art facilities with innovative spaces, views, and a transformed student-resident experience.

Geary Residence Hall is one of 14 renovated residence halls along with two new halls and was just completed.

The structure has been developed in several phases, and Penn State chose this delivery method to ensure the success of the intricate long-term project. This development highlights our commitment to going “Beyond these Walls” and I’m proud that we reached a safety milestone of 400 days injury-free on the job site.

When all phases are complete, Clayco will have added 4,570 beds to accommodate the growing student community. I look forward to the project’s continued progress and seeing how it will enhance the campus!
