Constructing X Phoenix Phase I and II

Clayco completed X Phoenix’s Phase I – a 20-story apartment, retail, and office high-rise in Phoenix, Arizona. The 731,321-square-foot structure is part of a two-phase project designed to appeal to young professionals living and working downtown. It’s located within walking distance of Arizona State University, public transportation, and various restaurants, bars, and businesses.

The X Phoenix Phase I

Amazing architectural photographer, Matthew McFarland, has captured some of the progress of our collaboration with architect Fitzgerald and Associates, which is helping us reimagine Arizona and the idea of the “new west coast.” The X Phoenix complex will provide affordable accommodations to a rapidly growing market and features a full-size gym with yoga and locker rooms, a pool with a poolside bar and restaurant, a 612-space parking garage, and more!

We also broke ground on the next phase, X Phoenix II, located adjacent to the completed X Phoenix that will connect at the amenity levels. Lamar Johnson Collaborative is helping design the project, which is owned and developed by The X Company. Residents here will enjoy 20,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor fitness space, a rooftop dog run, a pool deck and poolside bar and restaurant, and other incredible amenities. I look forward to seeing the 26-story mixed-use residential tower build 632,442 square feet of space into an attainable urban living option.

To date, Clayco has over $300 million in active construction projects in the Phoenix market and over 3.3 million square feet of completed corporate, industrial manufacturing, distribution, and e-commerce facilities. It’s thrilling to watch how the region continues to evolve as its population increases. We at Clayco are honored to continue working to transform Arizona with various innovative projects and improve the lives of Phoenix residents.
