Clayco and Boeing are setting our goals beyond the stars!

As the leading global aerospace company, Boeing develops, manufactures, and services commercial airplanes, defense products, and space systems in more than 150 countries. Like Clayco, the company has no plans of slowing down, and its 150,000-square-foot facility, which will inspect and repair airplane parts, is under construction by our team at a former U.S. Navy air base in Jacksonville, Florida!

The facility will be established near an existing 370,000-square-foot maintenance, repair, and overhaul facility and will keep Boeing at the top of the aerospace industry. Clayco and Boeing share the same vision for our planet, communities, and underserved populations. Our values and mission put people’s best interests at the center of everything we do, and we are working to advance open and respectful environments where everyone feels welcome inside our walls and out.

We not only prioritize diversity, inclusion, and equity across our operations, but we also work to leave sustainable change in every area where we set up shop. As Boeing begins construction on its second campus, it is a testament to Northeast Florida’s workforce and how it provides businesses with the state’s greatest skilled and high-tech workers. For its new facility, Boeing is already recruiting for several positions and anticipates creating more than 300 new job openings as new contracts and aircraft derivatives arrive, which will have a beneficial economic impact on the local community.

Boeing’s diverse team is committed to innovating for the future, leading with sustainability, and cultivating a culture based on the company’s core values of safety, quality, and integrity. Our team at Clayco enjoys partnering with enterprises that put people over profits and make a commitment to advancing a collaborative, inclusive, and globally diverse culture.

The facility is set to be completed early next year and I look forward to seeing how it will pave the way for further innovation across the aerospace and airfield industry.
