Clayco is helping make the lives of patients, staff, and visitors easier at the HonorHealth Scottsdale Shea Medical Center!
Our team is building a new parking garage to support HonorHealth Shea’s expansion in Scottsdale, Arizona, and meet its evolving needs. The garage is a big win for the center, especially for those using the Labor and Delivery building. With 466 parking spaces, this structure will solve ongoing traffic issues (that happen at critical moments) and make stays less stressful and more comfortable for everyone. The design also includes a pedestrian plaza with café-style seating, creating a welcoming spot to gather and enjoy community events.
This project also aims to make access to the hospital safer and more seamless with a direct bridge connecting the garage to the Labor and Delivery building’s lobby, simplifying arrivals and enabling expectant parents and visitors to enter the hospital without having to worry about parking issues. The best part of implementing infrastructure like this is how it will enhance patient care experiences by removing unnecessary stress and creating a more accessible journey to the hospital, especially for those in sensitive situations like labor and delivery.
With us at Clayco as the contractor, Lamar Johnson Collaborative as the design firm, landscape design by collectiV Landscape Architects, and Dibble as the civil engineer, this project will undoubtedly be an innovative success. I can’t wait to see how this development positively impacts the lives of the center’s patients and visitors.
Let’s keep building Beyond These Walls and putting Honor Above All in our communities!
