Supporting the next generation of world-changers is one of Clayco’s greatest missions – and that’s why our team is thrilled to have been an integral part of bringing The Dean to Nevada!
The Dean is a 426,464-square-foot student housing high-rise development in Reno that features state-of-the-art amenities. Residents will find that the 12 stories of the building have something to offer for everyone, including a fitness center, game and club lounge, BBQ grills, fire pits, both group and individual study lounge spaces, as well as a rooftop terrace with a pool and incredible views of the surrounding Sierra Nevada mountains.
Situated directly across the street from the rapidly growing University of Nevada, The Dean enables students to enjoy life downtown with roll-out-of-bed access to campus. The project is also designed to offer residents the opportunity to not just live well, but to enjoy a home where experiences work together with design to fuel one simple idea: help people write their next chapter.
I would like to recognize the CRG Residential team for identifying this transformative opportunity at the end of September 2020 and taking action to close on the land and form a joint venture with GMH Communities. Huge thanks to Humphreys & Partners Architects for working with our Clayco team to create such an important new staple in Reno.
I can’t wait for students to once again fill this amazing space for the 2024-25 academic year and witness firsthand how this structure continues to transform and revitalize the up-and-coming area! The energy and innovation that come from this environment will inspire everyone who walks through its doors!
